Dios de los Muertos – sorta

This image is based on the really really neat skull facepaint that I’ve seen used for Dios de los Muertos (Day of the Dead ((I apologize to any native Spanish speakers if I have messed up the phrase. Google told me it was correct)) celebrations. I don’t know what it is about the imagery around this holiday, but I have always always loved it. And so, I did a sketch a while ago, dedicated to that πŸ˜€

Then, recently, I got around to scanning all those zillions of sketches I have lying around. Or at least some of them. Then, I finished this one up with Photoshop πŸ˜€
